We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer skilled in Azure administration, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Networking (especially Cisco firewalls), and automation. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Azure cloud management, network security, and automation scripting to enhance system efficiencies.
Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure resources, including VMs, storage accounts, and networking components.
- Implement Azure governance, security, and cost-management best practices.
- Handle Azure AD integration, hybrid identity setup, and single sign-on (SSO) configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or other equivalent platforms.
- Develop and enforce mobile device policies, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.
- Handle the onboarding, management, and decommissioning of mobile devices, laptops, and tablets.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement policies for data protection, encryption, and remote device management.
- Develop scripts and automation workflows using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting tools to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes within Azure, OKTA, MDM and other cloud services.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively manage system health and respond to issues swiftly.
- Provide high-level support and troubleshoot complex issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve critical IT infrastructure incidents.
- Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in cloud infrastructure and IAM/MDM configurations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in cloud technology, IAM, MDM, and automation.
- Document and communicate processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco firewalls.
- Implement security policies, VPNs, access control lists, and firewall rules to secure network traffic.
- Monitor network performance and security, performing troubleshooting and resolving connectivity and firewall-related issues.
- Collaborate with the network team on incident resolution, network optimization, and security policy updates.
- Work with Information Security, PeopleOps, and Business Operations to develop automated onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal teams to drive initiatives.
- Assist in the ongoing evaluation and management of major vendor relationships and outsourcing arrangements.

Let’s talk about your skills/expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6-8 years in IT systems engineering, with a focus on cloud administration, IAM, and MDM, networking and Automation.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud administration, including core services, monitoring, and security.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD and IAM configurations.
- Experience with Cisco firewalls, network security principles, and VPN configurations.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, bash, python.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams to implement best practices and optimize infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience developing automation workflow solutions using SaaS workflow frameworks and integrations for repetitive or manual tasks.
- Experience developing automation workflows and integrations for repetitive or manual tasks.
- Strong experience with MDM platforms like Microsoft Intune/ JAMF.
- Experience with MDM solutions to configure and manage endpoints, including Intune and JAMF.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams to implement best practices and optimize infrastructure.
- 2-3 years Okta administration. Experience deploying and managing identity and access management platforms (Okta).
Certifications: Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, or similar are preferred.
