Senior IT Systems Administrator

About the Role
NinjaOne is seeking a skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team. In this remote role within IT operations, you'll be key in making sure our IT systems are secure and meet industry standards. You'll help us constantly improve our security, data protection, and overall quality. This job offers a great chance to use your skills in connecting different systems, especially Okta and various online applications, while setting up automation to make our IT processes work better. You'll play an important part in keeping our IT environment secure, efficient, and compliant for our global users.

Location: We are flexible on remote working from home, but you must be located in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico.
We hire the best software engineers, but experience in our stack can't hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture will help you.
What You'll be Doing

• Develop and implement IT compliance processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.

• Integrate and manage Okta with enterprise applications to streamline access and improve security.

• Administer access for infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud/on-prem environments.

• Collaborate on compliance efforts related to privacy, security, and quality assurance.

• Ensure system uptime, optimize performance, and monitor infrastructure for issues.

• Automate repetitive tasks and build workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

• Create user-friendly documentation and provide troubleshooting support.
• Other duties as needed

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of systems administration experience with a focus on compliance, security, and integrations.

• Proficient in managing Windows and Linux, with a strong understanding of networking.

• In-depth knowledge of Okta, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and application integration.

• Experience with automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)

• Understanding of IAM concepts, security protocols, and experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and/or ISO 27001.

• Familiarity with IT management and monitoring tools.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
