What is the position?
Cognosante, part of Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Program Manager with IT experience focused on efficiently delivering high quality solutions in support of VA’s mission. The Program Manager shall be an innovator, visionary, problem solver, collaborator, and excellent communicator. He or she shall be responsible for managing the overall performance, quality, schedule, and cost of the contract. He or she shall be responsible for leading and managing a team of business / technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to plan and deliver services, systems development, systems/network engineering, business process reengineering, and continuous service improvement (CSI). The Program Manager shall be responsible for governance and oversight of the team to provide capability delivery lifecycle management, configuration, enhancement/development, data management, operations and maintenance, and Solution-as-a-Service. The Program Manager shall be familiar with the frameworks and best practices relevant to the scope of work (e.g., ITSM/ITIL, Agile, etc.).
What will I get to do?

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) Contact Center Infrastructure (CCI) platform

Lead the team designing and defining our desired architecture for the NICE CXOne Contact Center as a Service (CSaaS) configuration, to include IVR design and development and systems integrations like Quality Assurance (QA) and Workforce Management (WFM)

Collaborate with AFS Solution Architects to help fill communication gaps between technical and non-technical resources to cover the risks of product misalignment with stakeholder requirements ensuring the solution fits the defined purpose

Provide 24/7/365 system monitoring and planned maintenance activities per a team schedule

Manage all personnel and ensures teams are always staffed with qualified resources to meet client program delivery expectations

Collaborate with client management personnel and business owners/stakeholders across the agency
-
Manage development and delivery of all program reports and deliverables
-
Communicate with team senior management on daily, weekly basis
-
Assign and evaluate work
-
Provide program recommendations based on data analytics and financial impacts
-
Develop and execute management plans
-
Develop project schedules and plans, to include deliverables in task areas
-
Mobilize resources to execute the work represented in the plans
-
Monitor progress against the plans
-
Identify and mitigate risks
-
Manage cost, schedule, and performance
-
Review deliverables to ensure conformance to the quality assurance plan
-
Resolve support issues within its responsibility
-
Provide briefings and reports of activities
What qualifications do I need?
-
15 years relevant experience
-
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)

5+ years automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD)
-
5+ years’ experience with large-scale SaaS and CSaaS offerings
-
Demonstrated experience managing technical / complex programs or projects

Experience managing a portfolio of projects

Strong customer relationship capabilities

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment

Management skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team members

Ability to interact with partners and clients

Ability to communicate clearly with all levels in an organization, with both verbal and written communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio, One Note, Outlook)

Able to pass a background check to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Compensation
$157,210.63 - $259,402.46
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees.
