Knowledge Center India (KCI) is the central engine that drives the operational value for the firm. There are various teams based at KCI that work with Global Offices, Practice Groups, and the Management across all aspects of the firm's business life cycle. Who we are!

We are part of Digital-IT team established 16 years ago in Gurgaon, India to provide technology support and rollout digital initiatives to 60 plus global offices. Digital IT has six key pillars – Collaboration Technology; Functional Technology; Digital Technology; Security & Architecture; Infrastructure & Services, Digital Success to support business and to take lead on digital transformation initiatives with the total strength of 150+ team members across the globe.

The Position 

The person will be responsible for providing 2nd Level administration support for Egon Zehnder’s Windows server environment. The support will entail all aspects of support activities with emphasis on administration of Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange Servers and related monitoring tools.  

Candidate details  

• Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management  
• 2nd level support for application development and support teams in resolving technical problems related to  
• Active Directory  
• Microsoft Azure  
• Microsoft HyperV  
• Server operating systems (Windows 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019)  
• DHCP and DNS  
• Should have a good knowledge of PowerShell scripting  

• Host security (for example, passwords, UIDs/GIDs, ACLs, file permissions, file system integrity)  

• Configuration and maintenance of state-of-the-art data backup and system recovery procedures including cloud based backups and archiving  

• Development, documentation and promotion of best practice maintenance, 1st and 2nd level trouble shooting procedures related to the above  

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Windows environment and related operations procedures across the Firm  
•  Knowledge of any one of below will have added advantage  
• Automated software distribution and remote management 
• Exchange Online  
• M365 and SharePoint  
• SCCM / SCOM  

  Required Skills  

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills  

• Solid sense for operational priorities  

• The ability to work both independently and in project teams in a remote team setting  

• Fluent written and verbal English language skills to deliver high quality support for clients  

• Client interaction and communication while handling complex escalations related to their issues  

 Education/Background/Training  

• Education in Information Technology or closely related technology area (bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field / MCA)  

• MCSE and Azure Fundamentals certifications  

• Overall work experience of 5-8 years with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in installing, administering, and troubleshooting Windows 2012 servers  

• Experience in providing support to global business critical systems, and managing 7x24 high availability server environments
