As we are growing, we are reinforcing our Funds team with a Senior Investment Funds Lawyers (M/F)

Job Description

• Structuring and documenting regulated funds from pre-launching to post closing
• Assisting service providers and developing relationship with them
• Advising on distribution channels
• Participating in corporate and transactional services
• Advising, guiding and following up with clients on their matters in collaboration with your local and international Clifford Chance colleagues
• Keeping regular information on client industry developments
• Develop deep knowledge of related practice areas’ law.
• Be proactive and willing to take initiatives and responsibilities (in line with your level of experience).
• Provide high service delivery for our clients and forge deep relationship with them to become a trusted advisor
• Present highly complex information in a simple and concise manner.
• Lead and supervise negotiations and exercise judgment in making complex decisions on behalf of the client.
• Seek new business opportunities to grow our business in your practice, in Luxembourg and beyond.
• Enthusiastically support and promote the firm’s strategy and contribute to the practice area business plan.
• Advising on distribution channels
• Corporate and transactional services
• Managing client relationships
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Contributing to the knowledge management

Qualifications

Your experience

• From 5 years' experience in alternative funds and UCITS ideally gained within an international and large law firm.
• Experience in dealing with clients and providing advice with regards to depository and administration matters.
• You are ideally already qualified or admitted to the Luxembourg 'Liste II' or to the 'Liste IV'.
• Excellent knowledge of Luxembourg Investment Fund structures (UCITS, SIFs, RAIFs, SICARs, unregulated funds).
• You are fluent in English and French - German would be considered as an asset
• Willingness to provide high service delivery for our clients
