Geo Owl is hiring a Senior Intelligence Recruiter to lead and scale recruitment efforts for some of the most critical intelligence roles in the defense sector. As a senior member of our recruiting division, you'll own the end-to-end talent acquisition process for defense and intelligence programs. From designing hiring strategies and writing role requirements to headhunting elite candidates and aligning with HR, Marketing, and Operations — you’ll play a pivotal role in Geo Owl’s continued success supporting elite U.S. defense customers.

We’re looking for someone with sharp instincts, deep defense industry insight, and a strong network of cleared or experienced professionals in GEOINT, ISR, and related domains. What You’ll Do

• Drive full-cycle recruiting across defense and intelligence portfolios

• Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to forecast hiring needs and craft compelling job descriptions

• Strategically source, screen, and vet top-tier candidates — especially in GEOINT and defense intelligence specialties

• Translate military roles and experience into clear private sector career paths

• Partner across business units (Sales, Marketing, HR, BD) to align recruiting efforts with company goals

• Contribute to proposal staffing and surge recruitment efforts tied to new government contracts

What You Bring

Required:

• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience, with a focus on military or defense contracting

• 5+ years of military experience, ideally with exposure to GEOINT, ISR, SIGINT, HUMINT, or related areas

• Deep understanding of DoD operations, contracting requirements, and acquisition cycles

• Ability to understand and communicate technical intelligence roles and missions

• Strong sourcing, assessment, and offer negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred:

• Prior experience supporting staffing for defense contract proposals

• Familiarity with intelligence community hiring pipelines and security clearance processes

• Success placing candidates in competitive government or intelligence programs
