Job Description

The Reporting & Business Intelligence Team is currently seeking a dynamic individual to put our clients first as a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Baltimore office.
Duties and Responsibilities

Generates monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for our private client and institutional relationships

Produces custom business-segment and/or firm analytics for managerial reporting on a regular or ad-hoc basis

Analyzes and interprets relevant investment data, including portfolio positions, transactions, and performance

Develops, communicates, and/or expounds reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders

Troubleshoots any reporting or operational process errors, then propose and implement solutions

Manages projects to create or improves reporting content and/or advance strategic business goals

Provides support, innovation, and project consultation for multiple business segments

Ability to draw own conclusions, articulate positions, communicate key messages, make recommendations, and influence in a team

Develops industry insights through proactive networking, conference attendance, and independent research

Performs other duties of a similar or related level and assists with special projects as necessary or assigned
Job Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
-
2+ years of analyst or operations experience
-
2+ years of direct experience with FactSet (PA3, SPAR, IRN, etc.,)

Experience producing attribution and risk reporting in support of US and International equity and fixed income products
-
Strong Excel knowledge working with large data sets
-
Extremely detail-oriented
-
Excellent client service focus and high touch experience required

Demonstrated ability to proactively problem solve employing independent judgment in decision-making

Strong organization and time-management skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and a sense of urgency

Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and work effectively and efficiently in a very fast paced, dynamic work environment

Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and complete last-minute requests as needed

Demonstrated aptitude for numbers and quantitative proficiency

Ability to handle highly sensitive client information with discretion

Ability to work in office five days weekly
Desired Qualifications

Prior experience within the financial services industry

Experience with Tableau

Experience with Snowflake and/or SQL
-
Knowledge of Advent Software or other portfolio management systems

Experience with Client or Firm Reporting
MD Salary: $78-$90k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
DC Salary: Salary: $85-$99k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
