Senior Implementation Manager

About the Job Opportunity
As the Senior Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for implementing technology solutions for our customers. This person will work with customers to adopt best practices that drive the best program outcomes. The Senior Implementation Manager will be expected to understand the entire procure-to-pay process for our provider and service organization customers, understanding how our products fit into that process, and how to incorporate integrations and reengineer processes to provide solutions to optimize their current procurement process and supply chain. members.
What You’ll Do
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of software and program solutions
- Provide direct communication/status to clients at the Executive and Director level of major health systems, clinical service organizations, or the manufacturers of medical devices
- Facilitate design workshops documenting and optimizing our customer’s procurement cycle
- Ability to document customer’s current state and suggest optimized future state procurement workflows, creating an end-to-end system workflow
- Configure the customer’s experience based off findings from design workshops
- Prepare and manage training, Go-Live, cutover, and transition to support activities
- Develop project specific Statements of Work prior to contract execution
- Conduct end-user software training both in-person as well as virtually on processes, website demonstrations, and operational optimization
- Travel as needed to hospitals and customer sites for meetings, training, and demonstrations
- Influence internal and external leaders to balance competing priorities
- Lead project and program activities to ensure effective scope, acceptable timing, maximum benefit, and quality delivery
- Work closely with Account Management and Engagement Manager team to implement new products and services to existing customers, identify opportunities for continuing education and deliver it periodically.
- Provide tier 2 technical support to new and existing customers as necessary
What You’ll Bring
Your Background:
Ability to professionally collaborate with key members of the healthcare industry and to be seen as a subject matter expert on project/program management, change management, timeline management, etc.
- Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills – ability to speak in front of both small and large audiences
- Ability to work independently and ability to act independently
- Oversee the implementation and execution of all programs/projects ensuring they are delivered according to contract requirements
- Develop implementation strategies including databases, appropriate technology tools, etc.
- Assist in developing implementation and continuing education training materials
- Manage client relationships, including being primary point of contact while coordinating meetings, reporting, issue resolution, etc.
- Analyze program data to improve program performance and cost effectiveness
- Establish and facilitate cross functional teams as needed to engage in program design
- Travel up to 75%
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant business experience
- Experience in software implementation preferred
- Formal training in project management. PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Understanding of process engineering and process mapping a plus
- Development of training materials a plus
- Experience in conducting in-person and virtual training
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, Visio PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of the procure-to-pay / order-to-cash lifecycle is a plus
