Contract: Permanent, Full Time 

Office Location: Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk or Wroclaw 

We are excited to announce the opening of new offices in Poland, marking an important step in our firm’s strategic expansion across Central and Eastern Europe. 

 

The role:  

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services while acting as a mentor  within the team. You will guide and support junior colleagues, sharing your expertise and helping shape their professional development in a collaborative and empowering environment The role is an opportunity to work directly with a diverse range of corporate clients, including large multinational corporations, and to build trusted relationships where we function as an extension of their internal teams 

 

You will be predominantly engaged in transactional work, including providing legal counsel, advising on, preparing and submitting visa applications, and advising on all aspects of business immigration, including right to work and compliance requirements in Poland Your legal knowledge will be essential in advising Fragomen’s clients—often on complex or nuanced immigration matters that require thoughtful analysis and strategic planning. 

 

You will be supported by experienced Managers as well as administrative professionals for your day-to-day caseload. In addition, you will have the opportunity to engage in business development and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.  

 

What your day will look like: 

  • Acting as key point of contact on client accounts, providing legal and strategic immigration advice 

  • Managing and developing strong client relationships, with manager support as needed 

  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and on the job training to junior team members 

  • Conducting legal research as required, to support complex casework 

  • Preparing, uploading, and submitting documents to Immigration Authorities 

  • Acting as a secondary point of contact for clients

  • Providing guidance and regular updates to Assignees regarding their applications

  • Managing a caseload in an organised and efficient manner while adhering to deadlines

  • Participating as required in client reviews, meetings

  • Preparing reports, involvement in presentations and training

What we are looking for: 

The successful applicant for this role will have Polish Inbound immigration experience, however you do not need to be a Polish-qualified lawyer. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on corporate immigration matters and will be proactive and highly organised with a strong client-facing background. Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively as part of a team. 

 

Also required: 

  • The ability to manage a high case load as per business need 

  • The ability to mentor, guide, and empower team members, with accountability for supporting the development of their legal knowledge and overall competency

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of productivity

  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

  • The ability to meet assigned deadlines and communicate progress to supervisors

  • Flexibility and initiative in your approach, contributing to a positive work environment

  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with team members

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organisation skills with ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple small-scale projects

  • Professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
