Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our dynamic HR team in Karachi, supporting a workforce of 70+ professionals (and growing!). You will be a key player in fostering a positive, inclusive work environment, managing employee relations, and implementing strategic HR initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our global HR team to drive talent acquisition, employee development, and performance improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a growing team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
  • Organize regular team meetings, including town halls, to ensure alignment with company goals and open communication.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a proactive and empathetic manner, promoting a harmonious workplace environment.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, including organizing team-building events and activities to foster a strong sense of community.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
  • Conduct periodic audits aligned with the Director, HRBP to ensure adherence to HR policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and manage the performance review process, providing managers with tools and guidance to offer constructive feedback for employee growth.
  • Recognize and reward high performers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs that enhance employee skills, capabilities, and overall growth.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to attract and oversee a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled professionals to meet the company’s growth needs.
  • Manage 3rd party recruitment firm relationships  to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Manage data  and reporting tasks associated with recruitment, onboarding, and employee transitions, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with HR systems.
  • Oversee a team of 2 payroll specialists  and collaborate with external consultants, (when required)  ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and addressing any payroll-related queries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits and Talent Acquisition including leadership roles within multinational organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pakistani labor laws and regulations, ensuring full compliance and best HR practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.
  • Strong proficiency in HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Willingness to work from 2 PM to 10 PM Pakistan Standard Time to coordinate with global teams.
  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
