Job Description
We are looking for a colleague who would join our team and would take care of offshore wind farm connection to the Transmission System Operator’s network in Estonia. You will be working with the Liivi offshore wind farm, which is expected to have a total capacity of 1-1.5 GW and is being developed jointly by Ignitis renewables and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Taking responsibility for electrical system design including grid connection requirements, liaising with other project packages
- Maintaining relationships with HV/MV contractors and EPCs to ensure standards compliance and review designs for cost efficiency without sacrificing quality
- Leading negotiations and meetings with the TSO to provide updates, address challenges, gather data, and conduct technical due diligence and risk assessments on grid connection conditions
- Consulting the O&M team on technological issues, possible improvements, integrations, and other upgrades
- Maintaining a strong TSO relationship to align schedules and review single-line diagrams for optimal design and grid compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/power engineering
- At least 5 years of engineering experience in project generation projects and/or interconnection projects to the TSO Grid
- High technical knowledge of HV power transmission network components
- Good knowledge of the 220kV and above HV transmission system including relevant legislation and standards
- Result-oriented mindset, ability to analyze and summarize complex development topics and aggregate decision-relevant information to convey messages clearly and concisely
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
