The Role:
We are growing our Consumer Tech Org, App team and are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team in Belfast! This team is responsible for building the mobile and web applications that people use regularly to access their earned wages before payday with zero/minimum fees, save for the future, and improve their financial literacy. This role requires someone that has experience architecting scalable applications, mentoring others to effectively contribute to those applications, and leading change across multiple teams by building influence and clearly documenting plans.
Our Senior Frontend Engineers focus on building high-quality React Native and React applications using TypeScript. While familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are essential, we're looking for a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript. A passion for staying current with the latest mobile and web framework trends and tooling, and a proven track record of delivering robust, enterprise-level solutions. As a Senior Engineer, multiple years of professional software development experience is essential.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Experience with React Native including mobile development lifecycle (iOS and Android).
- Skilled with React (including Hooks, Context API, and modern best practices).
- Experience JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility guidelines.
- Ability to architect scalable, high-performance, testable, and maintainable frontend systems, emphasizing modularity and reusability.
- Experience leading frontend technical discussions and decisions.

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation in addition to stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills and internal equity.
Belfast Compensation Range
£55,000 - £72,000 GBP
