Senior Front End Software Engineer

As a key member of the Software Development team, the Senior Front End Software Engineer will play a vital role in designing, coding, and enhancing software applications in alignment with business objectives. This role involves not only hands-on development but also providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to fellow Front End Software Engineers.

Senior Front End Engineers will actively participate in refining and expanding the front-end development architecture, advocating best practices, and enhancing the team's overall technical capabilities. Responsibilities

• Write, review, and maintain front-end code using Vue.js and modern JavaScript practices.
• Develop responsive UI components and features based on product requirements.
• Develop unit and integration testing to ensure robust and bug-free applications.
• Perform regular code reviews for front-end developers and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve UI reported bugs.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into functional interfaces.
• Monitor front-end performance and implement improvements based on user feedback.
• Update technical documentation for developed front-end features and components.
• Track and manage assigned tasks using Jira.
• Maintain an awareness of deadlines, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely project deliveries.
• Participate in retrospectives to improve development practices, team dynamics, and communication.

Qualifications:

Required

• 5+ Years Working in Vue.js (with recent experience in Vue 3)
• 3+ Years Experience in Tailwind CSS
• Experience leading a team
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Experience in Scrum and/or Kanban methodology
• Outstanding collaboration and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, team player who is comfortable and thrives in fast-paced setting
• Detail orientated Analytical mind and willing to investigate unexpected results
• Good time management skills and awareness of deadlines
• Ability to communicate results, roadblocks, and successes to peers, developers, and management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work as an individual or in a team with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Methodical approach to work, and capable of meeting high standards.

• Experience working with a Laravel backend
• Experience with Inertia
• UI/UX Expertise
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Experience writing robust front end unit tests
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise level software
