About the role
Noyo is the leading benefits infrastructure company, enabling seamless data connectivity across the benefits ecosystem. We believe every person should have access to great benefits that are easy to understand, easy to use, and have them covered when they need it most.
In service of that mission, we provide modern infrastructure to power the next generation of consumer health and benefits experiences. Like Stripe in payments and Plaid in financial services, Noyo makes it possible for developers to embed benefits into any app.
At Noyo, we believe the best ideas shine through when we’re together. Headquartered in San Francisco, we balance the energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility to support work-life integration. Our required in-office days are Tuesday and Wednesday, creating opportunities to connect and make magic for our users as a team. If you thrive in an environment where in-person interactions drive impact, we’d love to hear from you.
The Platforms team is responsible for building and maintaining Noyo’s API and App offerings for benefits platforms, working closely with all teams to expose the carrier network and core functionality in a cohesive, unified experience.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Platforms Team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our platform, crafting intuitive and scalable interfaces that bring our cutting-edge API and App offerings to life. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of frontend engineering, experimenting with new design and interaction patterns while elevating the quality of Noyo’s applications.

What Experiences You’ll Need

- Strong proficiency in modern web stack (Typescript, React, Tailwind, etc)
- Experience building modern web applications in a product-driven environment. You should feel comfortable balancing risk, speed, and quality in your development process
- An eye for clean, artful design with the ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating great user experiences
- Nice to have: Prior experience as a founder or early-stage startup employee, particularly in modern B2B software, combined with familiarity in design tools like Figma, Origami, or Framer, experience with AI-powered products or automation tools, proficiency with GraphQL (using Apollo server and client), and a strong portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of both design and technical skills.
What You’ll Be Collaborating On
- You will work closely with other engineers on the team, our architect, to build new features from ideation to launch and beyond. This includes collaborative designing, programming, and code reviews.
- You will work directly with a Head of Design and a Product Manager from the Noyo Product Team and cross-functional stakeholders to design the product you are building and validate that the product is truly solving impactful problems.
- As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical mentorship to other engineers on the team. You should enjoy coaching and making your teammates better.
