Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an insight-driven, forward-looking function that is focused on enterprise forecasting, reporting, and direct business support and partnership. We are a connected and empowered team of energetic, passionate, insightful and patient-focused financial experts shaping the future of healthcare.
The FP&A Systems team is a key support function embedded within the global FP&A team seeking to deliver ResMed Finance’s strategic vision of becoming a digitally driven team, where we provide forward looking insight, agile service, and transparent financial management. This team helps ResMed’s FP&A team to enable better, faster decision making through insight and transparency, as well as drive new digitally enabled ways of working.
This role will be focused on managing FP&A’s primary reporting and analysis tool, Atoti, which is used in tandem with a front-end client tool, Anaplan XL. This tool provides our FP&A team and other users in the broader Finance team with the ability to perform ad-hoc analysis along with creating dynamic reporting and it offers a lot of features and customization – your job will be to help them get the most out of the tool! This role is internal customer facing, so you should be comfortable interacting with leadership within FP&A and other functions.
Let’s talk about the role:

Build and maintain standardized reporting templates for corporate FP&A using Anaplan XL connected to Atoti

Work with end-users to understand their reporting needs and assist them with building reports using Atoti / Anaplan XL

Guarantee user success through the creation of user guides, short instructional videos, and conducting live training for Atoti / Anaplan XL

Drive the use of best practices related to Atoti / Anaplan XL report building

Have an eye for UX design – create reports that are a delight to use

Provide technical support to Atoti / Anaplan XL users, both on tool utilization and leading investigation of any potential data issues in conjunction with our IT partners – Be the SME

Maintain hierarchies used for reporting and analysis in hierarchy management systems

Coordinate resolution of data issues (e.g., incorrect postings, missing data, etc.)

Work with the IT team on the development of new Atoti cubes, improvements and/or integrations of new data to existing cubes.

Potentially build dashboards in Power BI for certain use cases
Let’s talk about you:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or another applicable quantitative major
-
2-5+ years of experience in a similar field

Experience using OLAP tools to build reporting (experience with Anaplan XL (a.k.a Fluence XL or XLCubed) in conjunction with an OLAP cube (e.g., Atoti, SSAS, Essbase, etc..), strongly preferred

Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), preferred

Ability to interface directly with business stakeholders and clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical individuals in an easy-to-understand format

Strong critical thinking / problem solving skills and ability to navigate a complex environment

Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple projects concurrently

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts

Willingness to learn and ramp-up in new technologies and business functions

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
