Yext is seeking a Sr Analyst, FP&A to support our growing revenue organization. As a key member of the Sales Finance FP&A team, the right individual will support topline forecasting, measurement, reporting, and analytics around the customer base including bookings, retention, and operational headcount planning. This role includes significant exposure to leaders across the company.
What You'll Do
- Act as the finance business partner and P&L owner for the Sales organization, working closely with Sales leadership to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Build and maintain detailed financial and operating models to support Sales strategy and headcount planning. Ensure the latest business assumptions are accurately reflected in the forecast.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of sales performance KPI’s including Bookings, Sales Productivity, and a variety of other SaaS metrics. Visualize and present key metrics on an ongoing basis to various stakeholders across the company.
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Accounting and Finance to ensure accurate monthly close and revenue forecast precision, and investigate variances between actuals and forecasts to understand trends and potential risks and opportunities for Yext.
- Perform ad hoc analyses that drive strategic business decisions. Analyze data and financial and business metrics used by the company and senior management.
- Continuously improve and streamline FP&A processes, reporting, and tools; advocate for scalable, data-driven solutions across the org.
What You Have
- Bachelor's Degree or similar college level education in Finance, Business, Investment Banking or a related field. MBA a plus.
- 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, investment banking or a related field. Prior software industry experience preferred.
- Power user of Excel/G Sheets. Experience using CRM (e.g. Salesforce), business intelligence (e.g. Tableau), and financial planning applications is a plus (e.g. Anaplan).
- Ability to develop strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization; prior business partnering experience preferred, within a tech company a plus
- Comfort working independently and diving into data or creating models with limited direction
- Excellent analytical skills, strong proficiency in financial modeling, and familiarity working with and articulating financial and accounting concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately to meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable working with and articulating financial concepts to managers and senior executives.
- High standard for integrity required for exposure to confidential company performance data and legal contracts.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
Annual Base Pay Range
$88,650—$174,000 USD
