We are currently searching for a financial professional that possesses a solid blend of business-savvy and strong analytical skills to provide financial planning and analysis support as part of the Company’s FP&A team.  Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, this person will be a key member of the FP&A team to help grow and drive the business through quality financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.  This role will be heavily involved with analyzing, reporting, and forecasting various top-line metrics.  In addition to key financial modeling and analysis skills, the ability to translate business issues into clear and meaningful financial forecasts and analyses is a key attribute possessed by the person that will fill this role.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly reporting and forecasting and annual budgeting of top-line metrics, such as Billings, Revenue, Annual Recurring Revenue, Renewal Rates and Retention Rates
  • Analyze and articulate variances to budget and forecast
  • Work with executives and business partners to identify areas of improvements in the business
  • Create analyses that provide insightful and relevant information
  • Create new or improve existing processes to keep up with ever changing environment
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, especially in a Finance business partner capacity
  • A working knowledge of an enterprise level financial planning system
  • Attention to detail and strives for continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer skills required, including a high degree of demonstrated Excel expertise
  • Keen problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (preferably in the software / technology sector)
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively and work with colleagues across businesses and geographies in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make timely decisions and draw appropriate conclusions from analysis of the business and financial information available

For Illinois residents - the base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $95,000 - $105,000 annually. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
