Role overview

This is a brilliant opportunity to join DUAL UK as a Senior Finance Business Partner. You will partner and support the COO of UK and Europe and key stakeholders across that team, including the provision of insight and analysis to support decisions, preparation and development of budgets, forecasts and management information.

To be successful in this role you must have a drive to continually improve, be able to build relationships with key stakeholders, use initiative and be able to back up assumptions confidently, as well as being a strategic and analytical thinker.

Role responsibilities

  • Partner with business area to provide insight and support decision making to achieve business plans
  • Develop and provide accurate and insightful reporting leveraging financial and non-financial data
  • Responsible for the financial management of budgets in IT, Operations, PMO, MI, Data and Bordereaux
  • Build strong relationships with PMO to consistently drive and improve reporting of capitalised staff time
  • Deliver planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the area including identification of risk and opportunities
  • Support business case development, commercial contracts, programme & project delivery and business reviews providing robust financial data
  • Provide management information and ad hoc analysis to support performance tracking, cost control and decision making ensuring these are timely, relevant and insightful
  • Support investment appraisals and work closely with the PMO to support the projects through the project life cycle, including post investment appraisals for key projects
  • Ensure the right financial standards, compliance processes and controls are applied into the business
  • Support period end activities including variance analysis and commentary
  • Identify, suggest and implement improvements to business processes and financial controls to increase efficiency and ensure all costs are recorded accurately
