Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to provide world class support to our Senior Leaders across Northern Data central functions. In this role you be a trusted partner to a varied range of stakeholders and functions where you will be in the driving seat helping the business to scale and operate effectively to meet its ambitious goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with senior leaders to provide world class Finance business partnering across all of our central functions including support on all budgeting and forecasting
  • Supporting the business to identify, deliver and measure strategic initiatives
  • Partnering with the HR function to assist with group-wide resource planning and people analytics
  • Helping to develop robust financial controls across the business
  • Producing regular financial performance analysis turning insights into actions
  • Developing insightful, timely cost center reporting for use by senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the development of junior team members and promoting an inventive culture

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have demonstratable experience partnering with senior leaders
  • Be agile and thrive in a changing and ambiguous environment
  • Promote a problem-solving mindset both inside and outside Finance
  • Have exceptional stakeholder management experience
  • Help decision making on capital allocation across a group
  • Have a transformational mindset and be able to demonstrate experience of bringing this to life in an organisation
  • Have an accountancy qualification with at least 5 years’ post qualified experience, with a minimum of 3 years of this gained in industry
  • Be able to demonstrate commerciality and business partnering
  • Have experience in managing and developing people
