About the Role:
The Senior Executive Protection Manager ensures the protection of senior leaders and foreign staff residing in high-risk locations or holding at-risk jobs. This role is responsible for developing a global People Protection Program while integrating comprehensive security and logistical plans for domestic and international business travel.
The Senior Executive Protection Manager will work cross-functionally with teams such as Threat Intelligence and the People function, as well as with vendors. They must oversee program implementation through the Regional Heads of Security, ensuring quality, impact, and cost control of program deliverables.
Additionally, this role will serve as the point of contact for executives and expatriates regarding personal security and must be flexible and available as needed. The role also involves delivering specialized training sessions and briefings to executives, expatriates, and other relevant teams while ensuring proper vendor and insurance utilization and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Executive Protection Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a People Protection Program across Executives, Expats in high-risk countries and at-risk individuals. Responsibilities include:

Conduct security assessments for executives, employees, and key personnel, ensuring regional security teams do the same

Develop processes to identify potential threats, including physical risks, cyber threats, and reputational risks

Monitor geopolitical, social, and environmental factors that may impact personnel security
-
Oversee the security of high-profile executives, including their personal and family security
-
Conduct residential security assessments and implement necessary enhancements
-
Coordinate secure travel arrangements, including safe transportation and accommodation
-
Develop and implement travel and relocation security protocols for executives and employees
-
Provide real-time intelligence on travel risks and emergency response procedures
-
Establish emergency evacuation plans for natural disasters, civil unrest, or security incident
-
Develop and deliver security training and briefings for executives, expatriates, families, and at-risk personnel.

Ensure a proportionate and accessible travel risk training program

Work with regional security teams to implement workplace security measures, including access controls and emergency response plans
-
Collaborate with HR, Insurance, and Legal teams to manage cases of workplace violence, vandalism, stalking, or threats against employees

Partner with corporate security teams, local law enforcement, and private security firms

Establish response protocols for security incidents, including cyber threats and physical breaches

Provide employee training and awareness programs on personal security and crisis response

Maintain up-to-date travel security advisories and collaborate with travel management teams and third-party providers

Liaise with internal departments such as HR, Legal, and Corporate Communications, as well as external stakeholders, including vendors, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement
What we are looking for:

Experience with building and leading protection programs required

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in executive, people protection and travel security

Professional security certifications preferred.

Strong background in conducting risk assessments, security planning, and crisis management in complex environments

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage security vendors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience providing high-level security briefings and reports to executives and boards

Strong knowledge of physical security systems, GPS tracking, and emergency communication tools

Familiarity with global security trends, geopolitical risk analysis, and travel risk management platforms

Able to perform security briefings to Executives
