JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manages a portfolio of existing long term natural gas agreements, including optimisation of cost and margins.
- Administer long term natural gas agreements, including stakeholders management, contract management and billing management.
- Support the sales of natural gas to downstream industrial customers.
- Involved in business development and structure commercial agreements for natural gas contracts including pricing strategies and reviewing terms & conditions of contracts.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis of industry/client information and keep track of business trends.
- Develop good understanding of the Singapore Gas Network Code to support reliable gas operations.
- Manages gas scheduling activities (hourly/daily basis) of both gas supply and gas demand. Timely execute nominations to meet customers' requirements in accordance to scheduling rules.
- Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly reporting of gas shipper nomination and settlement data.
- Manages daily, weekly, monthly and yearly nomination of gas supply and offtake.
- Verify and generates invoices from gas supplier and gas customer respectively on a monthly basis.
- Execute ad-hoc review and patching of meter data in accordance with approved procedures with the Gas Transporter.
- Administer and liaise with IT system vendor for smooth operations of the gas IT system.
- Provide constructive feedback on proposed regulatory changes and consultation papers issued by the energy regulator to support growth in the gas market.
- Liaise and collaborate with suppliers, customers, partners, regulators and industry stakeholders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering or Business.
- 1 to 2 years of working experience. Candidates with no prior working experience are also welcomed to apply.
- Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to deal with constant change and variation.
- Must be a good team player.
