Are you an experienced Environmental Analyst with 5+ years of exceptional project management and communication skills with an understanding of a variety of environmental compliance categories including, air quality, storm water, wastewater, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers? This job is primarily responsible for providing technical and professional support for a variety of environmental compliance tasks.
In this job, you will:
- Data mining permits, regulations, plans and compliance documents to determine impacts on company operations and practices.
- Perform QA/QC reviews on authored and peer-authored documents prior to management review.
- Ensure proper organization and retention of applicable documents.
- Prepare documents associated with permit applications, emissions and throughput calculations, reporting, compliance plans, permit summaries, and others as assigned/requested.
- Assist with development and/or maintaining environmental databases and tools.
- Provide exceptional customer service for team and assigned facilities.
- Ensure effective completion of compliance initiative tasks at assigned facilities.
- Participate in team meetings, and creates agendas as requested.
- Assist management with preparation of presentation and training materials, coaching, educating, and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Here’s what you’ll need to be considered:
Education
Required - Bachelor of Science in scientific field of study (i.e. Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Zoology, Engineering) or related field.
Experience
Required - 2 years' relevant experience.
Preferred - Industry specific software experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate QA/QC review skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, with ability to remain flexible to changing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ability to follow direction and use logical thought process to interpret oral and written instructions, and troubleshoot problems.

Physical Demands & Requirements
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
