We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team. This position is in Norfolk, VA and is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as the Government’s POC and shall supervise and manage Contractor personnel assigned to this effort.

• Has experience in Systems Enterprise Architect level or related to enterprise-level infrastructure management, software design or development, infrastructure architecture, content distribution, database architecture; IP networking; IT security; data center operations; enterprise applications.

• Demonstrates an understanding of the MSC Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) system requirements in relation to the MSC missions and have an understanding of the MSC strategic and technical needs as well as an expert level ability to understand the business domain of MSC and business problems, with the intent to solve the business problems.

• Understands enterprise architecture frameworks and enterprise IT management frameworks, identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets.

• Possess strong presentation and written communication skills and a high degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences and expert level ability to interact with senior leadership within a customer or partner organization.

This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in engineering, math and/or science

• M.S. Degree from an institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) (preferred)

• FEAC certified ACEA Green Belt or equivalent required, FEAC certified CEA Black Belt or equivalent (preferred).

• DOD Directive 8140.03 Foundational Qualification for Intermediate Enterprise Architect (651) or current equivalent in the case where the current DOD instruction becomes superseded by a new instruction

• Minimum 10 years’ experience for this position.

• Must have experience in Systems Enterprise Architect level positions or related to enterprise-level infrastructure management, software design or development, infrastructure architecture, content distribution, database architecture; IP networking; IT security; data center operations; enterprise applications.

• Experience designing and developing system concepts and working on the capabilities phases of the systems development cycle.

• Experience translating technology and environmental conditions (e.g., laws, regulations, best practices) into system and security designs and processes.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to carry out this assignment, with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.

• Must possess strong presentation and written communication skills

• Information Technology Information Library Certified (ITIL) Preferred

• Certified Integrated Enterprise Architect Practitioner (CIEAP) or similar Certifications

• Experience using the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
