Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with 8-12 years in performance engineering to lead, build our Quality Performance Engineering team. This Bangalore-based role involves developing testing infrastructure, collaborating with global teams, and establishing best practices in scalability and performance for SaaS products.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and maintain infrastructure and tools for performance and load testing to support product teams.
•Collaborate with OCTO and engineering teams to tailor strategies based on team needs and maturity levels.
•Act as a center of expertise, advising on test design and implementation.
•Work proactively with OCTO to address potential scalability issues.
•Share guidance on performance and scaling best practices through documentation, training, and tech talks.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
•8-12 years in performance engineering, ideally within SaaS.
•Experience in one or more relevant tools: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or similar.
•Strong expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Python, React, JSON, and PostgreSQL.
Preferred:
•Experience in Agile methodologies, large data handling, and collaborating with global teams.
