The Senior Engineer, Test Engineering – Product Development (TE) will be responsible for developing HW and SW necessary to stimulate and verify product functionality and performance for SERDES products for Automotive applications. The TE needs to follow stringent implementation procedures/requirements necessary to meet high quality automotive standards. The position requires a high level of attention to detail on quality, reliability and execution with excellent technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test programs on automated test equipment (ATE) to validate, characterize, and production-test Automotive semiconductor devices, focused on Serializers and Deserializers products.
- Design PCBs to interface ATE resources with the high frequency devices under test (DUT) and develop PCB circuitry to augment ATE capabilities if applicable.
- Create test plans and work with design engineers to integrate design for test (DFT) features into new designs.
- Work with production engineers to ensure high quality and yield standards are being maintained.
- Contribute to the development team by creating tools and providing trainings to meet the organization’s standards and objectives.
- Lead project development efforts and new initiatives to achieve effective and efficient ATE test solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of BS Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years Test Engineering experience or related field in Semiconductor product development.
- Strong programming and component-level circuit design and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience with basic lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers (VNA).
- Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to work in a global multi-functional team environment.
- ATE Experience in SPEA or LTXMX (Not required, but highly preferred)
