Job Description:• Determine the design and workout strategy for new projects. Lead the Project lifecycle closely following Governance models.
• Identify and resolve issues reported within defines SLAs part of routine maintenance of existing applications built in SharePoint online.
• Report extraction and automations to support different metrics, that are maintained in the applications.
• Work with Stakeholders on the enhancements in the existing applications.
Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting
• Workout budgetary estimates during kick off, after understanding the high-level requirements.
• Support the team in project planning activities, identify risks proactively, escalating thru appropriate channels as required and responsible for closely tracking the actual efforts
• Communicate regularly the status of Projects, risks that creeps, impediments if any.
Design
• Familiar with Microsoft Visio, Word to create HLD, LLD, DLD in various stages of SharePoint site development and maintenance.Qualifications:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java 12 and above, along with Spring Boot, event streaming and sql. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions. A background in production support and experience in the Insurance/Billing & Commissions domain is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications using Java 12+ and Spring Boot for event base application with skilled NoSQL expertise.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Independently create architectural designs and lead the implementation of new features.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues efficiently.
· Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
· Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Strong proficiency in Java 12 and above, with hands-on experience in Spring Boot.
· Experience in developing event base application using AWS SQS/SNS.
· Proficient in SQL and working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra or PostgreSQL).
· Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS is required.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Prior experience in production support is a plus.
· Familiarity with the Insurance or Billing & Commissions domain is highly desirable.
