About the role:.

• Knowledge of financial services industry

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development

• In-depth understanding of Java, JEE design patterns and their application

• Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, UML etc.

• Working knowledge in JEE, Struts, Spring, JMS, Core java

• Knowledge of HTML5, AngularJS, jQuery, REST web services is must. Should have worked in Agile methodology.

• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills

• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take

• Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed

• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts

What you will be doing:

• Develop core versions of software applications for external clients in SaaS as well On-premises. Identifies  Business and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with  engineering groups to assist in design and development/enhancement to software.
• It translates to being engaged in several projects with focus on timely delivery, quality, productivity.
• Good hands on experience on Java/JEE/Spring/Struts/HTML5/Angular/Oracle/REST Service.
• Domain Knowledge on Investment Accounting would be an added advantage.

What you will need:

• Bachelor of Engineering in IT/Computer Science
• Java
• Oracle Database, PL/SQL
• Angular/TypeScript
• Worked in Agile methodology

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience in delivering leveraging SAFe framework.
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
