About the Role
In this challenging and interesting position, you are the expert for all topics related to product cyber security within Magna Powertrain. You will be in charge of defining and improving Magna's cyber security processes and the implementation and compliance with these processes in our customer projects.
Your Responsibilities

  • Develop product cyber security concept (incl. item definition, data and channels definition, ...)
  • Analyze and evaluate specific customer product security requirements.
  • Lead and moderate product cyber security analyses on system, subsystem, Hardware and Software level (e.g. TARA, Attack Trees, Vulnerability Analyses, ...)
  • Lead and moderate a creation of a threat and risk analysis for product (incl. support of production TARA)
  • Define and specify cybersecurity goals and technical product cyber security requirements based on cybersecurity analyses.
  • Define technical product cyber security requirements based on customer requirements and input documents.
  • Support the development on the Hardware and Software level from the product cyber security perspective.
  • Participation in and support of internal/external assessments and audits
  • Participation in change and concern control meetings for the purpose of assessing and planning defects and changes.
  • Support of key processes such as purchasing, quality in production, maintenance planning with focus on cyber security of the product analysis of cybersecurity events.


Who we are looking for
Senior Engineer, Cyber Security
Your preferred qualifications

  • Technical education TU/FH (mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar)
  • Communication skills in dealing with team members and customers.
  • Conflict-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, analytical thinking, team player.
  • Experience with requirements according to ISO 214343, ISO26262 and A-SPICE
  • Ideally experience with electrical drive systems and their architecture
  • Ideally relevant professional experience in the automotive environment or in the field of drive technology.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
