Senior Ecommerce Data Analyst
Senior Ecommerce Data Analyst guides and provides advanced expertise on eCommerce analytics concepts for the organization. Person in this role applies and inspires the adoption of advanced web analytics across the eCommerce landscape and takes the lead to deliver data & analytics solutions.
He/She partners with stakeholders to understand business case (works closely with Product Owners), defines solution, and oversees configuration & development (liaise with other data development teams).
An important part of the role is to be a point of contact for business stakeholders to understand and assess the needs, navigate complex data (behavioral, transactional, customer related) to extract complete and accurate insights supporting strategic and operational business decisions.
Main Responsibilities:

Coordinates, consults and advises on Google Analytics setup and configuration for eCommerce platforms and curates it;

Designs measurement plan and utilizes Google Tag Manager to implement events and documents it;

Plays a central role in coordinating between teams (marketing, developers, data engineers) to ensure that the tracking implementation aligns with business objectives;

Supports/oversees testing to ensure that data layer items are developed correctly and works on troubleshooting technical issues in the GTM setup;

Manages GTM & GA accounts;

Supports Google Analytics end users;
-
Manages full analysis cycle – from business understanding, gathering the business requirements, through data analysis, developing reporting solutions and presenting conclusions and recommendations for business partners based on analyzed data;

Performs analysis on existing customer, transactional and web data and identifies business opportunities and challenges focusing on company performance and customer behavior;

Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed;

Supports building and executing an A/B testing process;

Defines and supports development of eCommerce related data model;

Continuously develops knowledge, tracks and implements latest trends;

Supports in developing less experienced team members while ensuring the growth of our organization in eCommerce area;

Provides training on web data and reports;

Follows data governance standards;

Complies with IT quality policy;
Qualifications & Skills:
-
High level of expertise of Google Analytics (including GA4), Google Tag Manager, A/B testing tools;

7+ years of experience working as an eCommerce data analyst or in similar role;
-
Graduate of Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related discipline;
-
Deep understanding of the eCommerce platform development process and how it integrates with tracking systems;
-
Familiar with how eCommerce platforms are structured and how product data, user actions (e.g., add to cart, checkout), and transactions are handled;

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
-
Working knowledge of BigQuery (advanced), SQL and Excel;
-
Hands-on Eexperience with developing dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI);
-
Experience with Hotjar, Clarity (or equivalent);
-
Able to work in cross-functional teams and various level employees;
-
Structured yet agile approach – with knowledge of the scrum agile methodology;
-
Business acumen and strategic understanding;
-
Results-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail (project management experience is a plus);

A team player able to build relationships

Good interpersonal communication skills;

Fluency in written and spoken English;
