Renesas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Line Sr Director to join our team in Power Management. As the Product Line Sr Director, you will be responsible for managing and growing our portfolio of Attach PMIC products.  This role is part of our Automotive Power Division.

We are looking for a leader to define and lead the team building out our product strategy and portfolio, to grow and expand the business, and manage the products throughout their lifecycles.  This role offers the opportunity to build a highly strategic and visible product portfolio working closely with our internal partners and global customers 

Job Description

  • Overall business leader for the product line, with P&L responsibility 
  • Defining a product line vision, strategy, portfolio and roadmap within the targeted application spaces 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for new products and product improvements 
  • Preparing business plans for new product concepts and proposals 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners 
  • Promoting new and existing products to the market 
  • Scaling and developing the business and engineering teams supporting the product line 
  • Managing pricing and quotations for strategic opportunities 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction 
  • Managing products throughout the entire product lifecycle

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field 
  • 10+ years of product management or marketing experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on power management products 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps 
  • Have led product management functions and teams supporting $50M in annual revenues or more, or have started and scaled a product line to a similar level
  • Strong technical knowledge of power management products and applications
  • Self-driven and self-motivated, and capable of taking full ownership of outcomes 
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams 
  • Comfortable presenting and communicating to audiences of different backgrounds
  • Can travel domestically and internationally as the business needs dictate, typically 30% with higher periods.
