Credit Risk Solutions (CRS) is part of Transunion’s Global Solutions organization and is focused on making trust possible by delivering more accurate and comprehensive information on individuals, businesses, and assets, and their relationship with each other. As a Global Alternative Credit Product Manager at the Senior Director level, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing the global strategy for both affordability and underwriting use cases. The role will be responsible for multiple alternative data assets, products and partnerships (e.g., non-furnished data including demand deposit data, cash flow attributes, spend data).
For some markets, this will include a ground-up opportunity assessment, business case, and execution, in others it will require maintaining and growing existing products. Your role also encompasses collaborating closely with multiple regional teams to ensure global alignment and efficient execution. You will ensure that these products meet local market needs while maintaining a cohesive global product strategy. You will also be responsible for initiating and overseeing key partnerships, strategic investments, and M&A opportunities.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion focused on financial products, underwriting, or lending.

  • Global Expertise preferred: Proven track record of managing and launching products across multiple countries, with knowledge of some regional financial markets.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and global teams, managing complex ground-up strategies, product roadmaps and multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of cash flow underwriting methodologies preferred.

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and external partners.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

      Impact You'll Make:

      Product Development & Management:

      • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery for new alternative data products.

      • Maintain the forecast and P&L for the global portfolio of products 

      • Manage and optimize existing products, driving continuous improvement based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

      • Spearhead the development of new global products that can scale across different regions, tailoring them to the specific requirements of each market while maintaining consistency with global standards.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      • Engage with regional teams to understand specific market conditions, regulatory environments, and customer behaviors to localize and optimize alternative data products.

      • Foster strong collaboration between global product teams, engineering, risk, and business units to ensure seamless product execution.

      • Act as the global subject matter expert for cash flowuUnderwriting, providing guidance to internal stakeholders on data strategies and product capabilities.

      Roll-Out and Implementation:

      • Support the global roll-out of new underwriting products, working with country teams to ensure smooth adoption and integration into local workflows.

      • Develop detailed go-to-market plans, training, and support materials to aid regional teams in successful product implementation.

      • Data-Driven Decision Making:

      • Assess effectiveness of available data sets/sources to make investment and partnership decisions.

      • Utilize data analytics and feedback loops to continuously monitor product performance and customer satisfaction.

      • Use key metrics to drive product iterations, ensuring ongoing market relevance and superior customer experience.

      Risk and Compliance:

      • Ensure that products comply with regulatory standards across all jurisdictions, working closely with legal and compliance teams.

      • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

      • Partnership & Vendor Management:

      • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including fintech companies, data providers, and other external vendors, to enhance product capabilities.

      • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure alignment with product goals and deliverables.

      Strategic Leadership:

      • Develop and implement the global strategy for select alternative credit data solutions, including build/buy/partner/no-go strategies in many markets, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader business goals.

      • Prioritize resources and investment across markets to meet financial goals

      • Continuously assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

      This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

      Pay Scale Information :

      The U.S. base salary range for this position is $166,800.00 - $250,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

      Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
