How you will help
HealthVerity is seeking a Senior Director, Real World Data Insights to manage and grow a team of exceptional healthcare data experts. Your team will rely on you for your strategic vision, subject matter expertise, deep understanding of our client needs, and your seasoned approach to helping clients get the best use of real-world data (RWD) in order to generate real-world evidence (RWE) upon data licensure and delivery.
What you will do
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and execute strategic growth initiatives, drive revenue generation, increase data “stickiness” (adoption, retention), and improve operational efficiency
- Increase the value and differentiation you and your team bring by ensuring team members are committed to achieving client delight and success
- Support your team in the identification of pain points to resolve and data licensing opportunities to deepen and expand our client engagements in the post-sale setting
- Raise the bar by demonstrating a deep understanding of HealthVerity data assets (open/closed medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, CDM, lab, and consumer) and how they are used to produce standard and advanced analytics deliverables
- Understand and empathize with clients’ use cases across life sciences segments, such as RWE, HEOR, epidemiology, safety, R&D, commercial, market access, medical affairs
- Possess a strong point of view on the post-sale services function, both operationally and strategically
- Demonstrate executive presence and exceptional communication skills (virtually, face to face, and in writing)
- Recruit, manage, and retain a high performing team of RWD subject matter experts
How success is defined
- Develop a high-performing team by mentoring and retaining top talent, fostering collaboration, and driving professional growth
- Enhance client engagement and satisfaction by identifying opportunities to maximize the value of real-world data (RWD) in post-sale client support
- Drive strategic impact by implementing data-driven initiatives that improve adoption, retention, and revenue growth
- Establish cross-functional partnerships with Product, Sales, and Operations to streamline data delivery and analytics solutions
- Serve as an RWD evangelist and thought leader, shaping industry conversations on evidence generation and reinforcing HealthVerity’s market position
Desired skills and experience
- Graduate degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, informatics, or similar
- At least 8 years experience in a consultative role delivering pre- and/or post-sale client support of real-world data studies in the life sciences, government, healthcare organization, or payer industry
- At least 7 years experience in an individual contributor role designing and executing research projects in RWD, HEOR, and/or evidence generation
- At least 5 years experience in a leadership role with a minimum of 5 direct reports with scientific or analytic backgrounds
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $155,000 - 202,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
