The future of FleetNet America is driven by the data team, and the Sr Director of Data Analysis is responsible for shaping, delivering, and growing those areas while managing the core day-to-day functions of the data analysis team. In addition, this leader is expected to develop new data products to help drive our partner's success and lead the efforts to continually improve internal KPIs and reporting. The individual in this role must be able to execute today while building for the future. This leader must work across teams within Cox Automotive to ensure a cohesive and coordinated method to provide a seamless data approach.
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, and implement, FleetNet America's Data strategy for today and into the future.
- Select, develop, and scale the data analysis team as the business grows, while effectively managing through the growing pains of change.
- Effectively lead the team members by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
- Drives efforts to support critical, highly impactful initiatives across the company.
- Partners with other senior leaders to establish functional strategic plans and objectives.
- Ensures research, analysis and reporting efforts are properly sized, scoped and managed to achieve expected outcomes and results.
- Oversees or otherwise ensures production of and distribution of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc senior management reports and presentations.
- Leads deep dive analyses where key metrics have yet to be fully developed and provides insight into the development of meaningful measures.
- Engages with corporate leaders to ensure Data Analysis initiatives and projects focus on high priority subjects with significant business impact.
- Provides timely insights and recommendations on important product, sales, marketing, industry, competitor and consumer trends.
- Analyzes competitive activities which could impact company strategy and business decisions.
- Collaborates with business leaders, IT and other stakeholders to improve the reference quality of data used across the organization.
- Ensures Data Analysis has access to and the capability to utilize state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
- Identify within and engage with the community and industry partners to understand fleet owner needs and pain points. Develop partnerships when and where synergies exist to advance the FleetNet America goals, needs, and aspirations.
Technical/Functional skills
- Advanced knowledge and ability to apply effective analytical techniques and tools.
- Ability to apply knowledge of economic, financial, market and industry trends to understand and improve organizational results.
- Presentation skills - ability to convert analysis and business plans into compelling, persuasive presentations to both internal & external stakeholders.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required with at least 12 years of relevant experience with at least 7 years experience in a leadership role
- OR MS degree + 10 years of experience
- OR Ph.D. degree + 5 years of experience
- OR 16 + years of experience with no degree
- Experience in the automotive industry or fleet management
- Proven ability to excite, inspire, lead, manage, and influence teams, partners and clients
- Experience in establishing and driving process and operational excellence
- Ability to develop and execute strategy in an evolving market
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experiencing high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions to drive alignment and bring clarity to the overall vision
- Strong interpersonal skills - flexible, collaborative, positive attitude, highly motivated and curious about market evolutions

USD 159,400.00 - 265,600.00
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $159,400.00 - $265,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
