What to expect:
- Work through all phases of the system administration life cycle, including capacity planning, architecture design, compliance, deployment & configuration, monitoring and incident management.
- Write clean code and apply industry best practices.
- Review designs, code, unit test and technical documentation created by other engineers.
- Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions based on data driven.
- Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and provide guidance to more junior squad members.
- Provide timing/scheduling estimates to reporting manager/product owner and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary.
- Organize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.
What will make you successful?
- Minimum 6 years of system administration experience in an (preferably) international setting.
- Familiarity or experience with data ingestion with big data technologies (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana and kafka).
- Familiarity or experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible (preferably), Terraform, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, and Docker.
- Exposure to Linux OS (RHEL) platforms.
- Experience in one of the programming languages (Java or Python) and have good understanding of OOP
- Familiarity or experience in vcenter manage VM host is a plus
- Familiarity or experience with SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP is a plus.
- Experience in NoSQL Databases.
- Working Experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter, Postman
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Practical working experience in an Agile driven team.
- Practical working on building matric for data driven report
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.
