We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with private cloud experience who is detail-oriented, innovative, and a collaborative problem solver to join our Infrastructure team. The best candidate will be someone who can automate CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure (Terraform/Ansible), and containerize (Docker/K8s) services for global scale and performance.
Strong technical expertise in public and private cloud environments, DevOps practices, and automation tools is essential, along with experience in building scalable and secure infrastructure solutions. The ability to troubleshoot complex issues, adapt to evolving technologies, and collaborate across teams will be key to your success in this role.
Your primary focus will be driving the adoption of DevOps practices and automating the entire application delivery pipeline. You'll work closely with development teams daily to streamline the CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD. You'll containerize applications using Docker and K8, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure success in building and configuring applications, software, and services to the private (sometimes public) cloud.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning (Terraform/Ansible), configuration management, and deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and optimize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Containerize (Docker/K8s) applications and manage container orchestration.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience in commercial software development
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
