Senior DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our AWS infrastructure, as well as implementing and managing the CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
• Implement and maintain infrastructure for development, test, production and QA environments using modern technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.;
• Ensure high availability, performance and scalability of systems;
• Participate in on-call rotation;
• Develop automations and tools for daily operation tasks;
• Continuously improve processes, services and self-service capabilities;
• Drive culture of innovation and continuous improvement through experimentation and iteration;
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing within team;
• Be responsible for project management and priorities definition, including risk mitigation plans;
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality of our products and/or service offerings by leveraging technology and data insights;
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across different audiences and levels of the organization;
• Build strong relationships with your peers, partners and clients;
• Maintain and enhance documentation related to infrastructure components;
• Provide guidance, training, mentoring and coaching to junior members of the team;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
You're a great fit for the role of Senior DevOps Engineer if your background includes:
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible;
• Working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure;
• Knowledge of middleware concepts such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Spring Boot, etc.;
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS, Websockets, etc.;
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed applications running on multiple platforms;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Proven ability to manage projects and drive results with minimal supervision;
• Experience working in cross-cultural teams and communicating in English and Portuguese;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.
