Join our Acronis DevOps Infrastructure team and bring your expertise, curiosity, and drive to excel! Collaborate with a team of top-tier engineers to maintain and develop cutting-edge automation tools while applying Infrastructure as Code principles to manage a global network of Cloud Data Centers. These centers support Acronis’s industry-leading SaaS solutions, including Backup as a Service and Disaster Recovery as a Service, complemented by scalable, redundant software storage technology.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Enhance and optimize existing systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Implement and advance CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code methodologies to achieve a new level of efficiency.
- Leverage public cloud services to expand and improve current processes.
- Research and implement innovative automation solutions, delivering robust and adaptable products.
- Foster an automation-first mindset by sharing expertise, mentoring team members, and driving collaboration across DevOps, QA, and Development teams.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a System Administrator or 3+ years as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer.
- Automation: Proven expertise in developing automation solutions.
- Linux Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux systems.
- Programming: Advanced Python programming skills (solid understanding of data structures).
- Networking: In-depth understanding of the network stack, including NGINX, DNS, DHCP, PXE, and firewall/routing/NAT differences.
- Infrastructure as Code: Practical knowledge of IaC principles.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Virtualization & Containerization: Strong experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Communication: Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English with excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams in multiple countries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, ESX, Virtuozzo/OpenVZ).
- Proficiency in managing monitoring (Prometheus, Graphite), alerting (Alerta), and logging (ELK/EFK) systems.
- Experience integrating with the Atlassian tool stack (Bitbucket, Jira).
- Understanding of programming patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
