The purpose of the role:

We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Analyst to join our business.

In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, optimisation, and maintenance of Aggreko’s remote monitoring system. You will work closely with developers to support the lifecycle of the IoT system, from hardware manufacture, cloud deployment, data management, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

The key focus areas for the Senior DevOps Analyst role are:

• Support our continuing journey to Cloud Services.
• Be hands on with the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ensure reliable system operations using logging, telemetry, monitoring and response for live services.
• Implement and maintain automated Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Support database systems, data ingress and egress to downstream systems.
• Apply an agile approach focused on improving outcomes

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience supporting MySQL open-source relational database management system.
• Previous experience supporting applications written in C++.
• Amazon ECS or Kubernetes experience.
• Previous experience in Tel-Comms would be advantageous.
