High-Level Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Planner to join our team. As an Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining demand forecasts for Enovis Foot & Ankle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory levels are optimized, and driving planning strategies that align with business objectives. You will leverage historical data, market trends, and stakeholder input to produce reliable forecasts while ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the supply chain. 

Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role.  Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need. 

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for different time horizons (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) based on historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights. 

  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to gather input on market conditions, promotions, new product launches, and other factors that may affect demand. 

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize statistical models, demand planning software, and advanced analytics to monitor trends and adjust forecasts as needed. Provide reports and insights to management regarding demand planning performance. 

  • Inventory Optimization: Ensure the inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory. Develop and implement inventory strategies to support both short-term and long-term business objectives. 

  • S&OP Process: Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting demand forecasts, analyzing variances, and contributing to the decision-making process for production and inventory planning. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work on streamlining demand planning methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proactively resolve issues related to forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain inefficiencies. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment between demand and supply plans. 

  • Forecast Accuracy & Performance Metrics: Track and measure forecast accuracy, identify gaps, and work to improve forecast reliability through feedback and adjustments to the planning process. 

  • Other duties as required: Support ad hoc supply chain and operational tasks related to demand planning as needed.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management (preferably in Medical Device).

  • Proven track record of successfully developing demand forecasts, driving improvements in forecast accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience with demand planning and/or supply chain management software (e.g., Colibri, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or other advanced planning systems). 

Work environment | Physical demands:

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with operating within Oliver Wight S&OP structures a plus.

  • CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification is a plus. 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable insights. 

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, and data modeling). 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex data to senior management. 

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
