As a Visualization Engineer within the Visual Insights and Automation team in Pharmacy Analytics and Consulting, you will:
- Lead the adoption, development, and implementation of new tools, technologies, and practices: You will be at the forefront of integrating the latest advancements in data visualization and analytics, ensuring our team stays ahead of the curve.
- Analyze and present data through the creation of insightful and actionable reports and visualizations: Your work will directly impact business decisions by providing clear, data-driven insights.
- Shape our strategy by distributing knowledge and mentoring team members: You will play a key role in educating and guiding your colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Advance our cloud-based analytics platform and push the boundaries of what's possible: You will contribute to the evolution of our analytics infrastructure, leveraging cloud technologies to enhance performance and scalability.
- Utilize Power BI Report Builder for the conversion and maintenance of existing SSRS reports and processes: You will ensure seamless transitions and maintain the integrity of our reporting systems.
- Exercise creativity and autonomy in determining objectives and approaches to solving challenges within both new and evolving assignments: You will have the freedom to innovate and develop unique solutions to complex problems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience building reporting solutions and data visualizations using Power BI

Intermediate proficiency in DAX
-
Working knowledge of Power Query and/or M language

Understanding of key concepts in the design and creation of dimensional models

Able to write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data

Experience utilizing and optimizing multiple large data sets
-
Adept at facilitating conversations with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into actionable technical solutions

Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and presenting findings to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Experience with Power BI Report Builder and/or building and maintaining SSRS reports and processes

Experience within the healthcare industry, specifically pharmacy benefit management related analytics.

Experience using Databricks for data pipelines, ETL, and data engineering

Experience integrating components of the Microsoft BI Stack, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.

Experience leveraging advanced analytics capabilities within Power BI

Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python

Microsoft Power BI and/or Azure Certification(s)
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$80,900 - $110,300 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
