As a Data Scientist at Melio you will be working with colleagues from various disciplines - Research Engineers, Analysts, and other Data Scientists - on statistical methods and machine learning techniques (both supervised and unsupervised) in order to develop classification and anomaly detection algorithms.

Designing the next generation of cutting edge methods that will:
- Help Melio battle sophisticated fraudsters in real-time at large scale
- Help small businesses manage their finance in a better way using Melio
- Help Melio grow the customer base by the built-in product network effect

What we’d love to see
- What we’d love to see
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Experience with ML in Python
- Team player, effective interpersonal skills. Manage relationships with key partners across different functions.
- Hands-on approach and an ability to take projects from idea to production
- Experience in big data/ entity resolution - advantage
- M.Sc/PhD in one of the following: Computer Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics or a related field - advantage
