About the Role:

You will be part of Extend's Risk Analytics team with ownership of post-purchase product analytics monitoring. You will play a pivotal role in helping to scale the organization. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own analytics for claims operations and post-purchase product features, understanding and explaining key performance trends. 
  • Guide the team toward robust and actionable tools for monitoring and optimizing claim and servicing products and policies.
  • Partner widely with Analytics, Operations, Product and Engineering to optimize claim intake, adjudication and fulfillment product features for excellent customer experience and lower claim cost.
  • Cultivate a data-driven culture with your skill for storytelling with data, identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations to improve our post-purchase products.
  • Work directly with senior leadership to support management of our claims operations through analysis, data insights, creation of data pipelines, and dashboarding. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • A curious, entrepreneurial analyst with plenty of creative thinking and initiative
  • 4+ years of work experience as a data analyst
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, claims, or product analytics
  • Expertise with SQL
  • Familiarity with Python/R
  • Experience building metric frameworks to understand user behaviors
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally to make an impact
  • Previous experience working with operations or product teams is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from Maths, Statistics, or a relevant major
  • Empathy and humility

Estimated Pay Range: $125,000-$140,000 per year salaried*

* The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location and job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
