- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data,
- Implement robust workflows for batch and real-time data processing using modern frameworks and tools,
- Develop and optimize data architectures, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability,
- Design data integration strategies to consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized repository,
- Build and manage data warehouses or data lakes, optimizing them for analytics and reporting needs,
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation to support business intelligence and data science teams,
- Implement processes to monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy,
- Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for efficiency and reliability,
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering,
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities,
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement,
Technical skills:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Data Engineering role with demonstrated expertise in building and managing scalable data pipelines, architectures, and systems,
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R,
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning,
- Proficiency in big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka,
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra),
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery,
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like S3, Lambda, EMR, or Databricks,
- Proficiency with Git for version control and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for deploying data solutions,
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or similar to track data pipeline performance
