Join Our Team as a Senior Data Engineer!
Are you passionate about making a difference through data? We are looking for someone who thrives in innovative environments and have a great opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join our central Group Data & Analytics team!
In this role, you will design and develop innovative processes for acquiring data from diverse sources, such as APIs and streaming. You will optimize our Enterprise Data Platform to meet evolving business needs and leverage AI and Machine Learning innovations within our central data platform.
Additionally, you will create data models and metadata systems to enhance data consumer productivity and conduct data and process discovery on source systems to improve data acquisition processes. Ensuring that technical implementations perform against agreed performance metrics and recommending new analytical tools to align with our analytics strategy will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will research and introduce emerging technologies to benefit the organization, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and champion DataOps.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with SQL, DBT, and Snowflake.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for developing applications and data pipelines.
- Experience in hybrid cloud-enabled end-to-end data architecture.
- Strong knowledge of analytical model design and development.
- Excellent communication skills for discussing business processes with non-technical users.
- Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for transforming large, complex data sets into actionable information.
- Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture principles.

- Experience implementing Data Vault 2.0 on Snowflake.
- Passion for AI and exploring its potential in corporate and life sciences.
- Experience with AWS/Azure platforms for Data & Analytics.
