Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
This role you will be one of the individuals accountable for completing analytic engineering projects, which includes elements of data engineering, analytics, requirements gathering, and ML Ops. You'll play a crucial role in the data ecosystem by working with data/decision scientists transforming raw and curated data into structured, high-quality datasets that are ready for analysis. This role combines the technical skills of a Data Engineer with the analytical mindset of a Data Analyst and strong business acumen to ensure data is not only collected and stored efficiently but also made accessible and insightful for end-users. The Analytics Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end data workflow, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and validation, to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of data engineering, business process, and analytics principles, as well as a proactive approach to solving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities
- Collaborates in agile teams with Data & Decision scientists, enhancing pace and efficiency, for delivery of advanced analytic solutions that improve profitability, expense ratio, and risk selection.
- Provides ongoing support, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting for data solutions created working in close partnership with IT.
- Identifies and assesses technologies available for required solutions and communicating potential impacts for decisions made.
- Ensures quality testing, addresses issues before QA, applies automation, and assists in user acceptance testing.
- Manages or supports deployment of updates, improving release efficiency and quality through automation.
- Uses analytic tools like AWS, Power BI, Snowflake, DBT and Python effectively.

- Bachelor degree (Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering)
