We are seeking two experienced Senior Data Engineers to join our dynamic development team. You will be part of a team responsible for crafting large datasets for our global clients.
This platform brings to bear brand-new technologies, primarily using Databricks and its latest functionalities like Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Terraform. You'll also play an active role in implementing the platform and have a significant impact on its strategic direction.

Key outcomes
- Be responsible for the delivery of tested, high-quality code.
- Adhere to coding standards and implementation of Kantar Technology standards.
- Build suitable automation test suites within Azure DevOps, as well as maintain and update them as often as required.
- Carry out manual testing, load testing and exploratory testing whenever needed.
- Work closely with BAS and Senior Data Engineers to consistently achieve sprint goals.
- Assist in the estimation of sprint-by-sprint stories and tasks.
- Proactively take a responsible approach to product delivery.
Key Capabilities
Your background will ideally look like this…
- University Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum Required).
- Demonstrable experience in Data Engineering roles for 4-5 years.
- Proven programming experience with Python as well as with PySpark, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
- Professional experience with a Cloud Services platform (Azure/AWS/GCP) and infrastructure – preferably MS Azure.
- Comfortable working with ETL data pipelines with large volumes of continuous data.
- Experience working with a DevOps or equivalent experience in a pipeline – preferably Azure DevOps.
- Experience working within Agile Methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN Frameworks).
