Position Summary
We are looking to hire a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst as part of the Customer Success Operations team. This role is responsible for gathering and compiling data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and data visualization, with the ability to turn complex data sets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven strategies, improve business processes, and provide key insights that influence the company’s strategic direction.
The Senior Data Analyst will leverage their expertise in tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce and other data platforms to analyze trends, create reports, and provide recommendations that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate data from various sources to create a comprehensive view of the customer.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new measures and functionality within internal databases.
- Create data visualizations and reports to present data-driven insights.
- Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Conceptualize and run analyses that generate insights on customer behaviour and customer needs to help further develop and improve market position.
- Maintain a deep understanding of business drivers, industry trends, and business metric definitions, and proactively interact with business leaders to give context and support them in interpreting reporting data.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience working with Tableau and Excel: Demonstrated expertise in developing, analyzing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, data analysis, and visualization, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros, to manage and analyze large datasets.
- 3+ years of industry experience in Data Analytics, Quantitative research, Computer Science, or another data-related technical or business field.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and formulas such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, pivot tables, and array formulas.
- Experience creating dynamic charts, graphs, and dashboards to represent data visually and make key insights more accessible to stakeholders.
- Experience using Excel to prepare detailed reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Expertise in creating and analyzing pivot tables and pivot charts to summarize large datasets and generate meaningful reports.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business intelligence and data visualization.
- Proficient in using Tableau’s advanced features such as calculated fields, table calculations, parameters, and sets to create dynamic visualizations.
- Experience connecting Tableau to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, Snowflake, cloud platforms, OLAP cube, etc.) and building efficient data models to support reporting needs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL to write custom queries for extracting data from relational databases and integrating it into Tableau.
- Excellent data analytics and visualization skills, with a high ability to learn new skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to consider tasks from multiple angles to produce robust analyses.
- Excellent cooperative skills and ability to work in a team environment/team player.
- Strong ability to work in an autonomous environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Serbian.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related technical or quantitative discipline/field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications, such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional, are a plus.
- Experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, including hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Lightning.
- Experience in building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and custom report types in Salesforce to meet business requirements.
- Knowledge of automating tasks using Excel Macros and basic proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to streamline repetitive processes and improve efficiency.
