As a Senior Data Analyst, you will enable data-led decision making and increased value creation by partnering to drive growth in capability and usage of analytics across RAC.
What will you be doing?
- Building Analytics Capability: Partner with teams to enhance data literacy and establish advanced analytics practices across the business.
- Innovating with Analytics: Stay ahead of analytics advancements and introduce cutting-edge techniques to create value for RAC.
- Supporting Business Projects: Guide projects with data-driven solutions by gathering requirements, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring reporting aligns with business needs.
- Delivering Insights: Use tools and statistical methods to collect, segment, and analyse data, uncovering insights to inform critical decisions.
- Developing Predictive Models: Create statistical models to predict outcomes and provide actionable recommendations.
- Enhancing Reporting: Design and maintain a reporting portfolio that drives action, supports member experience initiatives, and ensures business continuity.
- Fostering Relationships: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
What are we looking for in you?
- Educational Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative field such as Science, Statistics, Business, Commerce.
- Statistical and Analytical Skills: Applied knowledge of statistical tools and techniques, with advanced analysis, problem-solving, and investigation skills.
- Advanced Analytics Tools: Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, R, and Power BI, including advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and BI reporting and visualization tools.
- Business Intelligence Experience: Demonstrated experience using Business Intelligence software to deliver meaningful insights.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and develop analysts or lead projects, providing guidance and support.
- Data Visualisation: Skilled in presenting data in engaging ways using visualisation tools to drive decision-making.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyse complex issues and trends, offering actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
