We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our IT Data & Analytics team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on a wide variety of data analytics projects catering to multiple business teams and the executive leadership team within Clarivate. The team consists of 9 people and is reporting to the Senior Manager of Data & Analytics. We have a great skill set in dashboarding and data analysis and we would love to speak with you if you have extensive skills in Power BI.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

5+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst or similar data-focused role

5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Service or a comparable tool

Strong skills in Data Modelling, DAX/M Language

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
It would be great if you also had . . .

Prior experience working with data warehousing with deep understanding of database structures, SQL, and ETL processes.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Problem-solving aptitude and strong analytical skills.

Experience working in an agile development environment.

Certification in Power BI, Data Analysis, or related field.
What will you be doing in this role?

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and analytical requirements.

Gather data requirements, design data models, and build data sets from various source systems within the organization.

Develop calculated fields, measures, and write DAX formulas to transform and enrich data.

Design and build interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI to deliver actionable insights.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and implement proper data governance processes.

Automate data refresh schedules and setup deployment pipelines for sharing content.

Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively consume and analyze data.

Stay up to date on new Power BI features/capabilities and enhance reporting solutions accordingly.
About the Team
You will be a part of Clarivate’s IT Services unit, as part of the Data and Analytics team with a focus of helping colleagues across different business units derive meaningful business insights. This team with a mix of data analysts, BI tools specialists and data scientist plays a pivotal role in deriving meaningful patterns, trends, and knowledge from the data that empowers different areas within Clarivate drive intelligent business decisions.
