Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant interested in expanding their expertise into the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. Prior experience in crypto is not required; we provide comprehensive training and development to ensure you’re well-equipped to excel in this fast-evolving field.
In this role, you’ll apply your accounting knowledge while learning the unique aspects of digital assets and blockchain technology. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team and support innovative companies shaping the future of finance. Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple client accounts and communications
• Oversee daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks online
• Handle vendor onboarding and weekly invoice processing
• Lead month-end closings, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Collaborate with clients on payroll processing
• Track cryptocurrency cost basis and reconcile wallets
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Complete year-end 1099s
• Perform ad hoc tasks and other duties as needed
Job Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Preferred experience with QuickBooks Online but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dedicated to exceptional client service and satisfaction
• Previous exposure to cryptocurrency accounting is a plus
